Alameda de Hércules is a historic garden square located in the northern part of Sevilla's old town. Originally laid out in the 16th century as a public promenade, it is considered one of the earliest examples of an urban public garden in Europe and remains an important civic space within the city.
Today, La Alameda functions as one of Sevilla's most active social areas. Lined with bars, cafés, and restaurants of varied styles; it attracts a mix of locals, students and visitors, giving the square a lively atmosphere throughout the day and night.
