Torre del Oro is a 12th-century watchtower built by the Almohads along the Guadalquivir River in Sevilla. Originally part of the city's defensive system, it was used to control river traffic and protect access to the historic centre.
Today, the tower houses a small maritime museum displaying nautical instruments and ship models, while also offering views over the river and its surroundings.
